Yup, lovely morning here too
Not quite sure what to prioritise this morning....everything seems urgent/ pressing.

I think another brew is needed to help decide.

Looks like one of our cockerels is on his way out

Good morning! And what a lovely morning it is too..
..went to bed with two empty water butts, woke up to two full ones!
Serious amount of precipitation last night, just what we needed!

Work til 4.30.. then I'll take some updated chilli pics, and maybe a few pics of the allotment too!

What a luffly morning it is
Cleaned out the chooks, then had some spicy fruit bun toast. I did wash my hands in between, honest!
Best get on as there are some dark puffy things out there and showers are forecast.

Morning all, well had a lovely day with our daughter yesterday. It was beautiful so managed to sit in the garden which was lovely. It's beautiful today too but I have had a sore back now for four days getting gradually worse so won't be doing much today although car is going into the garage tomorrow and it's filthy! Car wash methinks.

Evening All
There was a cycling Velothon in sunshiny South Wales today. Lots of roads closed to make it a traffic-free race. Thank goodness its only once a year!
I thought of Scarlet's OH and Trip when I saw all these lycra clad bodies whizzing past. How do they get into those outfits and, more importantly, get out again when they need the loo?
Maybe I shouldn't ask these questions as I'm dreading the honest answers

Well...there's a turn around.
Paxo the cockerel is now crowing his little head off!
He's got a bit of a limp ( had a fiddle and can't see anything obvious ... Maybe a strain?) but he seems fine again.
Phew...he's no 2 cockerel and deffo bottom of the pecking order so I do keep a special eye on him ...

I am sitting staring longingly out of the office window trying to engineer a way to escape the office to the sunshine... and my veggies. Hopefully this weather will make a re-appearance for bank hol weekend!

Afternoon/early evening,Thank you to BM for the tip about the wheelchair as to putting a foot on the lever thing near the wheels,it works much better providing cars give me chance to mound the Kerb,i also taking a slower pace and stopping for little breathers/erm take in the views,

Had a good day here got everything done outdoors then watched the rain from inside my GH garden looks all nice and fresh now plus my butts are full again.

Still off work, managed a bit of light raking of newly formed paths around new beds.
Added some BFB to area where runner beans will live. Chatted to everyone in GH, all looking pretty decent!
And >>> excitingly, I have flowers forming on two of my biggest ancho chilli plants!

He looked like he was on his last legs this morning. All hunched up.
Seems perfectly fine now!
He's been stalking the gals out of sight of Au Vin( his brother), and apart from a small limp looks OK tonight.
Just hoping he doesn't take a turn for the worse....
