CG, I know exactly where you're coming from on this one!! Anybody would think that they're ill-treated creatures rather than pampered pooches...!!!! If Toby dogs' evening meal isn't ready on the dot, then it's the full on 'Labrador stare'. And if I go anywhere he's like my second shadow, tripping over him .....
And don't even mention the drool ....

          • Morning Nicos, Susie and all Woke up early excited about putting together the pea and bean frame today! I know it is sad but that's what I have been thinking about. Ha, shows just how thrilling my life is lol. Can't wait to plant mangetout out and give slugs something else to munch on apart from runner beans. I notice they don't like the onions
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

              • Mornin n'all n'all !
                Kettle's on!

Supposed to be going to Caen today ( about an hour away) to ,,,guess where?
                Yup IKEA!

One friend is moving house and urgently needs to order kitchen cupboards etc, the other friend needs a few things for a room/ study they have created from a cellar.
I'm going for the fun of it( yup really! ).
I had said individually I'd go with each as company at some point but as they both need to go now I suggested they go together in one car and I'll go cos they don't know each other very well.

And now we have a major fuel crisis in France...panic buying due to blockades .

And both peeps HAVE to go now to order stuff direct.( can't order on line for a delivery over here for some reason)

All very complicated as to who has enough petrol , enough space in their car etc.
Funny how things get so complicated isn't it?

                Anyway- I can't take both as I only have a 2 seater
We'll get there somehow I'm sure.
Hopefully I'll come home with some cheep net curtains for the brassicas and church candles

But first I need to get some ironing out if the way * sigh

                • Ikea! *Perks up*

Look for 50p glazed indoor pots (great for small windowsill herbs) and 70p plastic orchid pots (I use these outside too).

These scratch your itch to buy something gardening related without spending a fortune.

                  • I do wish, stuff would hurry up and grow!

Looking forward to harvesting stuff, can't do much with a handful of radishes

                    • Bright start to the day, but a very chilly night. Overslept this morning, so Mr Snoop has volunteered to help me water today. I'll do the rounds first to see what suffered in the cold. No other gardening today. Let's hope I manage to get up earlier tomorrow, there's still plenty to do.

Happy day to you all, peeps.

                          • Good morning all.

Beautiful morning here in lovely Lincolnshire!!

Love IKEA but don't get very often as the store nearest to me is about 60 miles away, always come home with things I didn't know I needed: confused:

                            Jobs to do today.

Plant out some bedding in borders to gives bit of extra colour, get rid of more forget-me-nots: mad: and enjoy the sun while it lasts.

                            Enjoy your day peeps.

Sweetcorn plants are sitting in the sun again. Growing and hardening off at the same time, perfect.
Got to get the bean strings on the frame today, they are romping away and will need support very soon
This is a job for hubby, little 4' 10 me, doesn't stand a chance lol
I did go to work yesterday, forgot that the fiery manager was at the dentist having 3 teeth out. Mmmm
Have a great day all, whatever you're up to

                              • Morning all,
Bright and sunny here,so hopefully it stays that way....so I can look out the windows from work at it

Lots to get done in garden still, making progress but really need to take a day off and spend it purely gardening..
My poor little man (4 year old son) had a bad fall yesterday down onto his mouth and has a front tooth just hanging there..feel so sorry for him
He is being very brave though...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                                ...utterly nutterly
