Morning from a cool, grey north . Where's the sun gone
Not sure of the days plans, OH talking of going buying parts n boring stuff..ugh how unexciting.
Ohhhh now it's raining, wet dog walk.
Havnt done a slug hunt yet or checked greenhouse.

Rotten night's sleep, been awake since 5.30 again but could not for the life of me summon enough motivation to get up so I just lay there and I think I feel worse for it now tbh.

This is going to be a 'meh' day I think.

Hope your day is better. Off to drink copious amounts of tea now.........

Morning all, bit better sleep last night. Sun is just peeping out of a cloudy sky. I think it's to be like that most of the day with a little rain in between. Still got this sore back if it doesn't improve over the weekend I think I'm going to have to go to the doctor, which I try my hardest not to do.
We have a little cat who has decided to come visit us every evening. It's very friendly and wants in the house which is a big no no as Harry dog doesn't like cats. It has a collar so is obviously someone's cat and arrives just after 5.30pm, as though someone has returned from work and let's it out. Trying to get OH and son to ignore it as I don't want to encourage it to keep coming but of course being animal lovers they can't help themselves! We also had a hedgehog in the garden yesterday evening. Been a while since I have seen one of them.
Right better go get some breakfast and get some work done, see you all later. Have a great day all. Hope the tooth fairy was generous Trip

I'm going to attempt to barrow some of my freshly delivered, lush-looking topsoil - my beds are screaming out for it ...!!! I'll go steady ... (as still off work .....)
I just can't wait until the weekend for DH to do it ...... (as said before ... patience not a great virtue of mine )

Thanks Bramble...Hoping for good weather..Last one I did was wind and rain all day Coupled with a puncture after less than a kilometre, it wasn't a great day!!

Another cloudy day unfortunately. Seeds I sowed earlier in week not showing any signs of movement sadly. Hope I don't have to resow all of them as did loads. Never mind.

Having coffee then onto some housework. Not my favourite thing so trying to delay. But got family coming tomorrow so needs to be pristine. Enjoy your day everyone.

Walk with dog done and had breakfast/lunch of Branston beans and chilli mushrooms on toast..with cheese

Think il sow seeds if OH goes out. Weekend supposed to be warmer so il do garden work then.
Will pot on cucs , though my pots are mismatched . Might see if he can pick me a couple up or maybe il check out eBay.

CG Homebase have got cheap terracota pots just now. I got 2 yesterday £1.50 each and a wee one for 47p You need to sift through the pile to get decent ones though. They have bigger ones but cant remember how much.

Just done my good deed for the day and taken neighbour's rubbish to the dump for her as she can't manage herself. (Why is there no smug / halo smilie? ) I had hoped Karma might have been watching and switched the sun on for me coming back but nope, dull as ever.
