    • Morning all (just). I'm back gardening again today after Chelsea on Wednesday and an exhausting day's golf yesterday with some old friends.

Chelsea was lovely although not exactly a cheap day out. The all-day breakfast costing £28 I settled for the special cup-of-tea-and-slice-of-cake deal for £6. Gulp.

The golf would have been less exhausting if the 55 mile journey hadn't taken 3 hours 45 mins on the way there and 2 hours 30 on the way back. Good old M25!

Anyway, today I'm going to plant out my runner beans and some other bits and pieces so I'd better get a wriggle on. Have a nice day y'all!

      • afternoon all - hope you're all out enjoying the sunshine where possible. Absolutely zero sign of sun here today, or for the weekend. Roll on the next 2 hours... today is dragging!!

            • A fiver! You are being ripped off Trip! 50p for a small one and a Pound for a big one here when the boys were small. Though they preferred "the Bristol Fairy" when they stayed at my friends overnight once, one of them lost a tooth. They had two pounds and she arrived before they woke up I used to forget and the "Melksham Fairy" had a big round. We were the last stop, after breakfast . Those were the days

                  • Best of luck with it Trip!

Well were all sorted here, Minister doing the ceremony called this afternoon for a run-down, all serious n somber, but 15 mins in called a halt to proceedings!

                    After hearing various stories etc

Right! This is no normal service your wanting is it? You are basically asking me to "Take the Piss" is that right? (But Respectfully)

Nicos got away with it earlier! Oh no! Already feeling the wrath of VC's "Pointy Stick" not for a third time surely!

Yep! That's exactly what we want!

Oh! Good said he! I'm really good at these!

So looking forward to what he comes up with!

But now all done! Gives me a full uninterrupted day on the plot in the morning!

                    • Well done you, Deano and the Minister. These ceremonies should be a celebration of a life, filled with happy memories and laughter. Everyone should leave a funeral with a smile on their face.
I'm sure that's what your brother would have wanted too.

Be just glad to get it over with!

                          • My husband said the same thing about his funeral We left the crem to "Always look on the Bright Side". Even the undertaker said it was one of the happiest funerals he'd attended I was glad to get it over with and move on - I understand how you feel - so you're excused the pointy stick for a while
