What part of the west of ireland was the race. If you had thr weather we had in Dublin yesterday and today I would say you need plenty of " refreshments".

Bank holiday? I'm jealous. I'm slaving over a hot keyboard all day today. All apart from some time out to water the potatoes and onions. The potatoes will be desperate after all the wind yesterday. Takes me quite a while to do them all, so if anyone fancies coming over and giving me a helping hand, you'd be very welcome. Onions could do with weeding too...

And hey - guess what? Yup, it's as dull as ditch water and rather cool...!
Just done the rounds of GH (all's well!) and 'beds' and can't actually believe there's been no terrorist flocks of pigeons greedily devouring my 'greens' that are merrily settling in ...!
Also, still anxiously expecting a sighting of the cotton-tail, fluffy hoppers to put in an appearance ......
Anyway, 'til it happens ~~~ all's well!!
Snoop, I'll come give you a hand with watering/weeding...!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Daughter is driving me crazy with singing all the tunes to Alice in Wonderland as that's their play this year. It's non stop argggghhhhh and half term so 24/7. I had to tell her to stop for breath for a short while yesterday as it was driving me crazy. An escape to PT might do me good
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.Comment

Going to get toms in greenhouse today whether they like it of not and weeding of a bed , needs done when not in full sun.

Ooooh, BM..!! It's proper chilly here - just had to dig out (again..!) my fleece to go on walkies duty this morning - it's a cool wind .....
Think I'm going to (try) to plant toms into final bags/pots today - oh no! I just know I'm going to run out of compost tho' ~ don't fancy attempting trip to GC on a gloomy BH Monday ..... every man, his wife, kids and dog'll be there .........~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

Morning all!
Where is the sun, it's blooming chilly out there..... I'm drinking tea until the sun comes out lol. Plans for today are all about the front garden, mow the lawn and weed the front bed, I can't see the lavender for all the weeds......
Must also construct my pea and bean supports and experiment with runner bean supports using hanging basket brackets and bamboo.Comment
