  • Morning folks.

    I have to mention it - I came back with an empty cat carrier from the vet this morning.

    RIP Domino cat - I will miss you so much.

        Big hugs....I'm sure you did the best thing...but that really is so sad.
        I felt I got to know him over the years.

        So pleased you gave him the best of attention over the past few days- he'll have appreciated that...and the shrimps

              • Good afternoon all,another hot one,sorry to hear about the pets going to heaven,hugs to you all,Nicos my car is light grey with the same age spots as yours hehe,as for the horn,mine is intermitent,the garage DID suggest a button on the dash,hope you get to enjoy the bath SJ,i nearly choked when i saw the cost.
                I too is all behind with planting out,it's either to hot,wet,house full,phone or i need a rest,you get the drift,had planed to go lottie and cut more grass,but,the physio came this am,rearangement,and another 2 more bodies,by this time is getting to hot,so in the car to the next village/town and post office,MR walked from the car park with the 4 wheeler,he did very well and is now tired out,twas his first time out in the street walking with a frame amongst other peeps,as luck had it i was able to get an end space so he could get out the car,cannot use the disable spaces.

                  I'm not having a good day... our house purchase has fallen through, I'm full of cold and OH is away on a stag do - so all in all I'm feeling rather pants.

                  Glad I've got an afternoon of gardening ahead - hopefully its just the therapy I need!

                        No,tried,you have to wait 6 month from date of stroke before you can apply,and only then if he meets the criteria,all makes it that bit harder to get out and experience the community again on your own 2 feet,at least i still got him

                          Yes you've still got him and he is improving
                          Ugh don't they like to complicate things. We used ageUK with both sets of parents. Were very helpful doing all form filling for various things.
