Saw a fox walking dog earlier then had a crisis call from mum so had to rush out late last night and a small badger ran across the road. Never seen one do that before lovely.
Then a deer. one of those nights.
Hoping to get parents over to stay tonight /tomo, give mum a break.
Right ..its dry so am off with dog.

Nice and sunny here today...
Lovely Indian meal last night and got sweet peas planted on, peas and some lettuces planted out afterwards..
Busy today but cuppa first followed by a trip to the races...Bit optimistic hoping for a second win in a row, but hoping for a good run...

Bit late here but: congratulations NVG. Good gumption there, getting another personnel manager to sort out a reference. Bet that alone impressed them. Not flummoxed under stress, identified a solution, got it sorted. Well done.

Anyway, early rain this morning and distinctly chilly outside. Probably brighten up later.

My deep root trainers got delivered yesterday. Wonder what I can do with those today?
Whatever it is, there's plenty to do before I'm allowed to have any fun.

Morning all - bit grey and overcast but not raining - Yay! Lovely day in London yesterday - Sicily exhibition at the BM and a lovely lunch in their cafe and then a very pleasant couple of hours mooching around the V&A.
Today I am on baby-sitting duty - son is best man at the wedding of the chap who was his best man five years ago! No children at the wedding so the poppet and I will be spending the day and evening together ... which is great, but it means another day with garden work not done. Going to water the greenhouse before I go. If the weeds are bigger I don't need my glasses to see them!! Have a good day all.

Good morning all. We have the sun today so off out to water the plants in the greenhouse and then to pitch and putt.
On sunny days like this its always a toss up as to whether I will go, or stay in the garden, but the fact I play with my sister always wins out
