  • And in response to the lonely stuff - which let's face it - is *no fun whatsoever* even if you are in a deep blue tearfest funk for any reason. If you are - then you have my sympathy and a hug, and a tissue for a good blow. Better? Maybe. Lets go!

Bringing us out of the blues - I think that this was Bill Withers originally, but the soundtrack to my years has the cover by Club Nouveau....

            • Morning all. Yesterday was blooming lovely and best day we've had in ages. The weather report said we'd get rain in the evening which was fine and I thought that's good because we had the school fete in the afternoon. Well what do you know, 5 mins after the fete started, the heavens opened and had a massive rain storm. The poor stall organisers had to rush to get everything set up outside and put in the hall which isn't all that big. So we all squashed in the hall for an hour and then the rain stopped and the sun came out again that's British weather for you!

Today my daughter is on an all day brownie trip so I'm hoping the weather plays nice so I can get on with more gardening. I was surprised to see some more mangetout ready to pick last night, that seems to grow very quickly. I guess we'll be having more for dinner. Now if only more strawberries would hurry and ripen. Have good weekend all.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

It's going to be a good day. The sea mist that rolled in 20 minutes ago is rolling out again , I've learned how to put thread links on the vine this morning and I don't have a change over to do today
                Have a good day everyone

                          • Morning one & all!

A tad overcast this morning, but the sun is trying it's best to break through!

Another day on the plot beckons (I WILL get the last of the tomatoes in place) just so I can tray the spares up & give away to a few colleagues at work who want some, if only to clear some space in the greenhouse/poly.

                            Coffee first!

                            • Good morning! *said in a cheery tone*

(Just pretending to be cheery, it's flipping dull again here. )

I'm making self watering thingies today as my plants will have to fend for themselves shortly. I'll be away for a few days and I don't trust those left here to do the job properly.

I got bitten my something yesterday and the itch is driving me mad, I've scratched heck out of it and it's oozing blood now. I love nature but certain parts of it really pee me off.

Anyway, I'm off before I show my jealous side with regards to Nicos getting to play with more exciting toys than me!

                              Happy days all.
