Evening All!
As posted in the Happy thread, I nipped over to H0m3b@se and filled the car with free plants - so spent the afternoon giving them some tlc - and whiff of oxygen for some.
There are 20+ bush and climbing roses, 7 thymes, 6 oregano, 4 chives, 2 French parsley, a tray of runner beans and another of broad beans, leeks, onions and spring onions, Reflex kale and PSB, a cucumber, 3 chillies, a bush lilac, 5 Iberis, a couple of nemesia and angelonia.........and, I've forgotten what else.
Must have been my lucky day
Never intended to have a rose garden but you can't refuse when they're offered.

Scarlet, I never thought I'd be given all the roses! They're going to need a lot of tlc but, by next year, they should have picked up. At worst, I have big pots and compost

A Good Sunday Morning all!
Well, as predicted, it lashed it down, on and off yesterday afternoon after a lovely warm, sunny start - washing was in and out, out and in ....... (Ooooh, maybe I ought to re-phrase that .......?)

Had a v.tasty curry last night with DH, young son and big bro & SIL and baby bro .... Our glasses were all raised in congratulations to Wales on their win over N Ireland in the Euro footie ...... bring it on ....!!!

Busy mornin ahead for me!
Sadly none of it including pottering about in soil.

Guests leaving in a few minutes.....local village vide grenier( car boot for those not yet in the know)....preparing picnic buffet for friend's burpday/ house leaving picnic......
And then basically eating and nattering all afternoon and into the evening.

Might get a chance to potter later though.
I do have some self seeded nasturtiums needing relocating ASAP as they have appeared in the radish bed!...so evening is probably the best time.

Morning another wet day here I've looked out of the window but thats about it for outdoors today, so I'm planning on baking instead, some bread scones and crumbles.

Morning, the day looks so so here. Want to do the garden but I have my company accounts to do as they should have been in to the accountants ages ago! Only got the week to get them done but once done I can play lots in the garden so must sit down and do. However I may just have a small break this afternoon for the garden! All work and no play will make me a boring person, can't be doing with that!

Happy Sunnyday It isn't really sunny but we can pretend
I need to find gloves and secateurs and do some surgery on these roses. Wish there was a gadget for de-thorning roses!
