Its been a sunny if a little cooler day today , but no rain. Did a little of everything today.
Walked, went to the library. Fed and warered the tomatoes, peppers and cucs.
Weeded the garlic and onions.
Potted on the last three pepper plants and mixed in loads of chicken pellets.
Took some foliage off the tomato plants.
Tied up the Sweetpeas that seem to be reaching for the moon.
Generally its been a busy day.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Evening all. Well went to allotment and got my rhubarb planted then started the dreaded weeding. Was only there for a bit then got a phone call from OH to pick him up early.
So this afternoon just flew by doing odd jobs in the house then it was time to pick the kids up. Have finally finished Hans project with her. Just got to contents page then it can be handed in
Have a good evening everyone.sigpic

Well missed forum today as working on my accounts and played bridge. Did manage to feed the plants and collect 6 strawberries which my hubby eat all of them without sharing! Also lovely size courgette.
Glad GD improved SP.
Hubby watched footie at neighbours, a lot of disappointed people.
Anyway night, night.

Morning Flo and all
Looks like a cloudy day but that could change. Looking forward to seeing if the marrows and squash have grown any more. Every morning I'm rushing to get up and check the garden in my dressing gown, the neighbours must think I've gone potty. Oh well. Have a good day everyone. And for those disappointed in the football, we got a better result in the tennis - every cloud and all thatLOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Morning, a lovely sunny start today, not supposed to last though.
I'm popping out in my dressing gown Marie, to get my newly harvested onions out of the shed. They need to take advantage of the sun.
Extra shift at work, I am the Spanish lady this morning, Ola
Hubby may be getting some turf today to nearly finish the garden project, he's still in bed, depressed from North@@@ after the footie.
Have a lovely day allNannys make memories

Morning
Been reading how poor England were last night with little mention of how good Iceland were.
I think they were heroic, everyone of them played with pride and for their country. My apologies to the Welsh fans as I predicted you would be first home.
Think BM is right with Germany though
Have a good day

Morning all you early birds from a glorious sunny Nestland. All due to change around lunchtime so rain will stop play. Have just been down to let the chooks out, said hello to George & took some piccys for the Calendar. Well best get over there and post them I suppose. Have a good one & hope it stays sunny for you.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Yes, I'm often a dressing gown garden frequenter ...! I'm sure my veggies don't mind - the fluffy bright pink sure is a good bird deterrent, 'tho doesn't seem to have the same effect on the snugs!!!
Hope you get your onions dried Nannysally. Good luck with new runner bean plants FF...!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

And yes, GL - Iceland certainly had something more than what England had as a team (apart from the goals, that is..! )........ sadly lacking .... Even the penalty was a soft one .......~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
