Hi n good Eve's to all!

Well what an absolute waste of two days!

Was supposed to be a two day seminar about a process now being dumped in my lap of responsibility! Where is this gunna end!

But a few dozen presentation slides read "Parrot Fashion" seems one hell of a lot of resources mis-spent when you could have just as easily sent the presentation by email for me to read myself! Oh Well!

But back in the land of the living! & wouldn't ya know...............It's raining!

By Eck! That Dunstable place is a very strange place to drive around, even the "Sat Nav" kept getting confused!

But we're done! Oh n by the way! "It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tis mine anyway!

Depending on the weather I might sneak down to the allotment tomorrow

I'm feeling very sorry for myself .... A summer cold has been passed to me from young son, I hardly slept and Toby dog is pestering me to take him out - whereas really I just want to go back to bed .....

Looks dry here so far today. Think I'm going to have to give the allotment a miss this morning. My sister is visiting tomorrow and I need to do a major tidy up.
Might plant some more seeds though

Get better soon, Susie. I get the jitters every time my daughter picks something up because while she shrugs colds and stuff off after a few days, hubby and I can end up ill for weeks with the same thing. Hopefully you will get rid of this soon.

Deano: sounds like you've had quite the time of it. Hopefully you'll enjoy today and the weekend

Woke up at 6 so decided to get out early and feed all the plants. Now I get to relax with a cuppa tea.

Found out yesterday afternoon that daughter's teacher is striking so she will be off school Tuesday. No big deal to us as OH being retired and me working from home means we are very flexible but I feel sorry for working parents who have to suddenly sort out childcare last minute. Plus 4 classes out of the school are off for the day while the other classes are going in - how does that seem fair? Either make them all go or shut the school and make them all have the day off. Not right that some go in and some don't.

Anyway it's Friday and I like Fridays in particular so have a good one all
