Morning all
Working again today, hope to be finished early so I can play in the garden ( between showers) this afternoon. Time for a quick look round before watering my tunnels & getting ready.

Morning all, bright outside. Looks lovely, but a bit nippy
Rain expected later, quelle surprise
Shame, because the little football club in our road is organising a fun day for the kids with games, bouncy castle etc and mucho vino in the evening. All proceeds to MIND charity, which I think is a good cause.
Back to the garden, we have decided to start harvesting spuds from next week, ready or not lol.
We have so many bins/buckets, we need to.
This will start my few months of 'I must cook everyday' as there will be fresh produce to be picked
I'm quite looking forward to it.

Morning all, we have a lovely blue sky but My brother and family are coming for the weekend so no time to garden! Grrr..I really want them to come but this day could have been swapped for a rainy one.

Birthday cake to be made and prepare our dinner for this evening....the boys are all off out on Sunday morning for a treat. Little one wants to try his hand at clay pigeon shooting, let's hope he can hold the gun. My older too are looking forward to it too

Weather says rain, rain & more rain, but it being a prodominantly greenhouse day planned, shouldn't really get in my way.

Not a great week so been a tad down so stayed away.
After mum had crashed her car other week we went to collect it from insurance designated repair place (new wing and bumper) , the wing was completely wrong colour of white. So we refused it, had to be done..also missed a bit they were supposed to do.
That was Monday.
Tuesday went back for car, correct this time.
Wed, OH woke up with vertigo, couldn't stand up..never had it before, took to GP as thought was ear infection?
Thur nephew knocked off his push bike and admitted to hospital with 3 spine fractures and side of face broken.
Fri thunderstorms, torrential, high winds and hailstorms and discovered some of my many many many tadpoles are growing back legs.

July ....hope it improves !

Well my sister has been and gone. Took her to the allotment and dug up some spuds for her. Also picked my first courgette of the year. My sister took that with her as well
Raining here on and off again. Been like this all day.

Afternoon folks!

Managed to get a pile of desperately needed paperwork done...no housework at all, but because it was dull and drizzly earlier I decided I'd crack on with the chutney.
...ended up with 3 pans on the go at the same time...
Apple and mango cardamom chutney
Raspberry and chocolate jam
Raspberry and blueberry confiture

All yummy , and I can hear the lids popping right now

Well...that's a bit more room in the freezer

Plenty more to do though!

well i finished work early, as expected. the weather was beautiful until the journey home and its done nothing but rain since I got home. But when I got home other half had made me these
