Mornin Flo'nall !

Woken up with hayfever...Hibou demanding breakfast and out ....and have been watching 2 Ravens hopping about ( they don't really hop do they?) our nearest potager

So I decided to get up and bake a banana cake!!!!!

Tis in the oven right now...thing is, the electricity has just gone off 20 mins into baking well at least if it doesn't turn out OK I can blame it on that

So...I just need the electricity to come back on, and the router to reset itself and then I can post this.
Gosh...I hope it's not the oven which has tripped the house???...best go and check!....

Well that is strange....I managed to post that, so maybe something has tripped in the fuse box...oh joy...

Far too early to be messing around with fuse boxes...but it looks like half the house has tripped.
We have 4 separate fuse boxes as the house is so long...(only 8 sockets per fuse)
At least the gite section is working ...... And Yey!..... The router runs off that section

Will have my cuppa then wander outside to the cellar to check on it.

I may be some time......

Need to get some washing out and dog walked, work a couple hrs then out n about , OH wants some stuff, to go the tip and to call in at the Crem ...il try and manourve him towards some garden stuff related places

Cake nicely cooked but not browned....I think we can cope with that

Trip to IKEA again today....need more single sheets and T towels ...just going really to help my friend order a corner kitchen unit....and maybe partake in a few meatballs

It was so dark this morning, it didn't feel like it was time to get up .....it was .....
Ponderously dark, heavy cloud, windy yet curiously didn't feel cold when I was out and about with Toby dog..... only a measly 15c in GH though......

Nicos, hope fuse box(es) soon sorted - there's nothing worse than a soggy bottom ....!!! (banana cake..!!)

Pass us some of your sunshine down please CG and Bee ....it's blummin July - needs to sort itself out now..!

Morning all, the sun has just poked through the cloud and promptly went back in.

Had some lamb mince last night, with home grown onions, carrots and Charlotte potatoes. Very nice it was too

Not looking good. Been out and it's very windy, cloudy and cold. Luckily am going shopping today as not great day for gardening. Might finally spend those M&S vouchers that have been lurking in my purse for months. Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Everyone,

I have made that recipe before Nicos, the kids loved it, glad it turned out after the fuse going. I understand your frustration with trains small pumpkin, I have had many people to shout at over the years. As for archery, thought I would be a natural being a Sagittarian but it turns out I couldn't hit a barn door if I was sitting on the latch, lots of laughs with the group I was with though.

Well I need some therapy time in my garden after a challenging shift yesterday, so going to pick up my pea planters (missed the post grrr) then get some grow bags then sort out my planters and spend a happy hour or two planting out my seedlings which are getting too big.

The only archery I've done was on my Nintendo Wii don't think that counts but I did get the heighest score
