Just been grocery shopping for first time in about 7 weeks ( been ordering online) and I'm thinking, "why did I bother" ...??? Think I'll be hitting Internet again for next weeks shop ......

Morning all, still feeling a bit bleugh!! Decided to try stop taking the pills, big mistake! What a funny ailment is labyrinthitis!

I’m back! Well I was back from holidays since last Wednesday evening as Marie points out, but I is back here now if you see what I mean; ah never mind

nah- you're OK Trip- they came over here to my garden for their hols at the same time

What have I missed? Short summary please of any events I should be aware of... For example, acts of maiming by the mods, invention of slug zappers etc...

The hols were brilliant; we stayed in Tavira in Portugal and had an excellent time; lovely place. There were some town festivals on whilst we were there too so that was a bonus!! Weather was great and up around 30 each day...

Been very busy since we got back from holidays...Had to catch up on the last 5 EPIC episodes of Game Of Thrones as a priority

Weekend was busy too as unfortunately my parents house was broken into whilst they were out..My mum was away shopping so I got the house tidied up as best I could, so at least she didn’t have to see it ransacked...
Did a 90km cycle on Sunday and the effects of my holidays were talking their toll near the end..

Garden wise, I picked my first tomato and ate it; still waiting on more to ripen. I harvested most of my garlic; I do love that smell when you start lifting the garlic bulbs...Also lifted some of my winter onions...
My chillies are still flying and I have a bumper crop so far...

Better get on with some work now!

It's all happening today innit or maybe not, all I got done today so far is the chooks & the domestics Best have a well earned lunch & then do something productive before Mrs.BB returns from town

Itsy bitsy spindrift went out to plant some veg,
Down came the rain and washed spindrift back indoors,
Hope the sun comes out to dry up all the rain,
Then maybe spiny's veg have a chance to grow again.....

Well best laid plans and all that, never got in the garden this morning. Maybe get to potter about later.

Nice to meet you Trip, I am new here and getting to know everyone. Sorry to hear about the break in, hope they find who did it. My folks got broken into twice and it is awful, thankfully they caught who did it though. (Apparently the thieves wore marigold gloves so the police knew every house they had been in).

Jay, hopefully things will improve for you soon and that awful laberynthitis leaves you soon.

NVG - very best of luck for the new job. Good luck too on the kids bedrooms, every so often I will blitz my two kids rooms. Mind you now they have broken up from school they can blitz their own rooms.

I got a part in the invisible Man a year or two back - currently on holiday at Wroxam on Norfolk Broads and have never seen the Herons so tame almost eating out of your hand :-)

My uncle is on the warpath with herons...they keep pinching his fish but no matter what you say to him he won't net his pond!!
