My uncle is on the warpath with herons...they keep pinching his fish but no matter what you say to him he won't net his pond!!

My grandson spent 20 minutes trying to chase this one, and another perched on the boat, away - they seem to be used to feeding from the catch and he was having none of it :-) Personally I would have given them the lot out of the keep net but he was not amused at my suggestion :-)

Morning all. Very sunny here today so far. Think we might head to the allotment today. Turns out its not a dog or a fox that's flattening my stuff its a deer. My mom told me last night as a fellow plot holder told her it loves gooseberries and sweetcorn.
So might get a picking of broad beans again. I've had a load of them for tea for the past few nights. Can never get bored of you own freshly grown stuff.

Just been watching a pair of bullfinches feeding off the seed heads of my Phaeom Geraniums, lovely bright colours. I won't chop them seed heads off now.
Working today so best get on with the dog walk, hope to get in the garden some point seeing as it is actually dry again..so far !

Another exciting day in Rhyl. Cheapy shops and buying lots more whiskey for grandad this morning. Then spend lunch and all afternoon with grandad. At some point have a visit from the Dr & district nurse.
