Morning!

Got home last night to torrential rain and drowned pot plants. Got them undercover now to try to dry out but they dont look good tbh. Think it's been raining for days.

My tomatoes in tubs have got some sort of issue, once I'm organised I'll take a pic and ask for opinions in a 'what's this' thread.

Most of everything else seems ok though thanks to my neighbour's watering.

Have you all been good whilst I've been away?

Yesterday was good. As I said got the shopping then put the washing out which dried due to windy weather. Only thing is it now needs ironing!
Then it was garden, pottered sorted out sweet peas some looking good and others with drop bud. Sorted out tomatoes by attaching to canes and adding new canes as some of the tomatoes have branched out and picked out the side shoots and noticed baby tomatoes appearing, got excited. Dead headed my violas and pansies and weeded in between. Watered a little and by that time I needed to cook a meal.
My son and girlfriend came over late to discuss their new flat and the layout of their kitchen and lounge so OH can get on with the plumbing, get electrics done, Windows done and get the units for the kitchen. My son knows how to project manage!!!!
So sorry to hear about Your dog Deano, hope he is better today. Always a worry with pets when they are hurt.
It is raining here so I could do the ironing! Off to play bridge this afternoon.

Espesh when we're so busy?...ha!

And yep...we'll certainly manage a bit of time me out to nip to a local vide grenier.

The lemon pudding I made was just devine!....I'll certainly be making that again!mmmmmm.....

Morning I've been out briefly across to the GH and got much more wet than I expected it only a few steps outside the door as well.

Morning all - started the morning by watching a DVD of The Railway Children, (original version), with grandson no.2 - joined by no.3 about 0730 - no rush to get up as shops don't open till 1035. :-)

Well it's another dull smirry morning, on the upside though it's not cold! Going to try, for a second time, to go shopping without being diverted to car showrooms 'just to have a look at this car'. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Good evening,

Went to the allotment very early this morning and harvested rhubarb, blackcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries and courgettes. The berries and rhubarb are in the oven now, making a fruit crumble
Then rest of the day so far I have tided the house up and done some knitting.

It's been a lovely afternoon and I've just lifted another 3 onions, these ones are blinking big
They are sunbathing ......
Just noticed the sungold toms are ready to start picking properly, no more snacking as I go.
I sowed more carrots, watercress and radishes in a container about Wednesday this week. The radishes have germinated already, the whole line. Happy days

Gawd! What a night n day!

Update on "Marley" Still not up on his leg's, but were turning him from side to side every few hours, he's eaten and is drinking a little, but bless, cos at the mo can't physically move, ya can see he is totally embarrassed by his bodily movements! "Bless Him"

Another night's total rest, see how he goe's! Here's hoping! Not in pain, But come on "sunshine" Ya need to get better!
