Afternoon all, dodging the rain with the washing today
Hope it isn't as bad as yesterday's showers, glad to say that the flood 'defences' stood firm
All our onions are picked and living in our nice warm shed, no sun to dry them today
Just a bit of weeding today - nowhere near enough though.Nannys make memories

Turned out a lovely afternoon - picked some beetroot and rhubarb also some peas. Beetroot beds are flourishing - need to watch they don't get too big. :-)Endeavour to have lived, so that when you die, even the undertaker will be sorry - Puddinghead Wilson's Diary

Haven't had much time today as watched daughter's school play this morning so only had the afternoon free. Our lovely neighbour gave us some rhubarb so I made an apple and rhubarb crumble which I'm pigging out on now - smothered in custard and blooming yummy. Bang goes the diet
Not having a great deal of success with seed germination and seedlings right now. Lettuce is taking ages to do very much. Will it ever grow big enough to eat! Chard the same. Oh well, win some lose some.
Having a nice evening all. Was thinking of you today, Deano (hugs)LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Not gunna dwell, & my "Old Dear" when she was about a few years back, sadly past our ways too, said you'll always find "It's one Out one in" n really never grabbed what she was on about! She was a wise old soul!
