Afternoon all - harvested some potatoes, courgettes and cleared one beetroot bed today giving a couple of fellow plot holders 3 or 4 each as theirs are still a bit small. My first sight of a grey squirrel on the site today although others have said they have seen the odd one but nothing like last year when they were on site every day from May till September. Joined in the polytunnel late afternoon by two of my friends for an hour or so whilst the rain fell reminiscing over old times. :-)

I'm back from my course!
Wow! Anyone else tried copper enamelling?? It's so good, very exciting to see the effects coming out of the kiln, and quick too which is very good for peeps like me with zero patience
You could make what you wanted, plaques, mobile things but even though I rarely wear jewellery I'm always drawn to making things to wear. I have lots of things made for presents, I think I need more friends
3 pendants...well chuffed!Attached Files

They're lovely Scarlet. I have some enamelled earrings somewhere that a friend made for me.

Just checked - its goneLast edited by veggiechicken; 16-07-2016, 07:16 PM.

Oh, never even thought of looking at secondhand VC - great idea! I might try that route first. I like the look of small enamelled bowls too, just a little more space to work on.
Although I'm going to have to do some homework as I'm not really sure what I need to get..

Good evening Folks, have just came in from a walk with the dog, and although raining the colours of the countryside are something to look at, all the different shades of green in the trees, really uplifting, next time out I will take my camera for some photos. Well I wish you all very good night, as OH has made my supper, I wonder what she is after. Goodnightit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
