  • Morning everyone, Scarlet your pendants are gorgeous you should def take it up. NVG sorry to hear about your BIL.

I now have a space in my veg bed where I have taken up the rest of my tatties there. I suppose it's too late to sow anything in its place? Was thinking of moving my sweetcorn seedlings. They seem too close to slugs at the moment. I put my organic slug pellets down and the little devils appear to have eaten the lot and still had room for a sweetcorn seedling grrrr.

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day.

    • Morning all. The sun is shining! Yay! It has rained on and off for the past few days ...I have interpreted that as Nature's way of saying "You will not mow the lawns". So - I haven't! Maybe later today? It has been a busy few days and I haven't really done any proper gardening; just watered the greenhouses and harvested. I have been wall-paper stripping. I think decorating is a bit like toothache or childbirth - you remember that it is unpleasant but your brain conveniently 'glosses over' (yes, pun intended) the ghastly detail of it, so that you foolishly undertake it again!

So, time to get a wriggle on I think. Yesterday was nice, but I can't say that I achieved much, although I did go and see Sarah Millican at the Symphony Hall last night . Quite surprised to see over 50 empty seats and some in 'blocks' of 4 or 5. When I booked it was pretty much sold out. But I suppose people book and then don't go?

Elder son has opened his new business venture, a craft beer shop and is now working a lot of hours in a week. He says it will only be for a month or two until he gets things properly established! Ha! But ... if he wants it to be a success I suppose he will have to.

Happy Sunday and enjoy it, whatever you do.

Wow! Anyone else tried copper enamelling?? It's so good, very exciting to see the effects coming out of the kiln, and quick too which is very good for peeps like me with zero patience
You could make what you wanted, plaques, mobile things but even though I rarely wear jewellery I'm always drawn to making things to wear. I have lots of things made for presents, I think I need more friends

                            • Morning all. A hot sunny day here on the Lincs coast. Unfortunately my shoulders gone again, so can't do as much as I'd hoped, but gonna spend a couple of hours at the lotty watering and probably do a Tomato n Chilli video to stick on here later.
