Afternoon all...

well that wasn't a good idea As in go for a 6k run at lunchtime..sweated buckets which was ok and expected..Had a shower when finished and of course in this weather, continued to sweat buckets after the shower....

Not a good start to the day either as I have lost my wallet
Searched high and low at home but no sign, and eventually had to head to work..
Was in one shop yesterday evening but didn't lose it there apparently..Raging because as well as all my cards in there, I had just taken out 200

I have just tried my first doughnut peach very nicebut the fur was very prickly and now I'm having a mild allergic reaction to it. Must remember to get the razor out first next time

Thanks for the link, Nicos. We have a cuckoo that's a regular visitor to our valley. Locally, our wildlife is probably OK as we have a spring and pond at the end of our valley, so I imagine everything bar the ants head there for water. I mention ants as they are in just about every water bowl I've put out for animals outdoors and even indoors. They're not bothered about food, just water.

Sorry about you losing your wallet, Trip. That is a bummer Maybe it will still turn up - you never know. Let's hope.

Had a massive downpour with thunder and lightening. Hoped it would clear the air but no. Still hot!

Was lucky to get an unexpected roast dinner today. Parents had enough to feed us as well so could not say no to that. So nice not to have to cook. I did wash up though in return

Getting my first yellow tumbler tomatoes but no sign of any red ones yet.

Oh gosh Trip...by the tine you've managed to cancel everything it'll probably turn up

I've just spent the last 11 hrs sewing....craft stuff for the sumner fayre in September.
Usually by now I have about 80% of stuff made and ready to sell...I'm soooo far behind!

Such is life eh? ( don't even ask about the garden/ gites!)...

Good evening Folks, it has been a right muggy day here, an occasional shower, nothing too heavy but not a day for working outside, collected some seaweed and added it to a 25lt water container that I have with some 6x manure and any juice I get from the wormery steeping in it, do you think seaweed adds much to any water you steep it in?
I have been plagued with phone calls all day today, one saying they were from my I.P.S. and asking me to turn on my computer then some emails stating I have problems with Pay-pal and an other from Amazon, now I ken my English is no that gid bit theirs should be, and VC thanks for that observation from my last post, if you hadn't noticed it no one else would have Trip I hope every thing works out OK re. the lost wallet.
Well I wish you all a good night, and 1Bee if you are young or have a clear conscience you can sleep through anything, as I did last night, I wonder what category I am in. Goodnight

Rary there's loads of scam calls around at the moment . Do nothing.
We have had loads lately who are just hanging up , talking to BT they can't do a thing, it's all scams Eastern Europe or beyond.

Trip ..so about wallet, hope it turns up in tact .

Carp day.. Had row with OH tonight re caring. Ie if he ever needed to move his mother in ..me being carer.
Sounds harsh but I refused . I cannot be 24hr carer and work and do everything here. Would need carers if had to mobe in mine in let alone his. He sees it as I like my parents better, I do they are my parents ! ..but I also know what 24hr care is like, my mum does it every day...OH is clueless and has never done any caring .

CG remember its just hypothetical - don't fall out too much over it.

Trip, hope it turns up - definitely keep an eye on your cards and could be worth cancelling. Be careful replacing expensive things such as driving licenses though until you're sure its lost!!

Have you tried local fb sites etc in case someone nice has picked it up? Also... just on the off chance, have you looked right under your nose? Thats usually where my OH loses his

Yup a tad early but it finally feels coooooler! ...hopefully I'll grab a siesta later.
Ironing, food shopping, cleaning and sewing and watering are on my list for today....what's everyone else up to?
