Morning everyone. Getting a bit fed up waking up to yet more bad news about multiple killings somewhere in the world. I despair about humans sometimes, I just don't understand why we seem to be having more and more atrocities happening. It seems as if a week can't go by but something else has happened.

My thoughts are with everyone whether close to home or far away who's day will not be filled with joy.

I'm going to clean my last remaining gutters in the rain today if needs be and be happy that I can.

OH has suggested we go on an egg hunt...for fertile chook eggs....might be the last chance for chucks this year!

Hope everything goes as well as these things can, SP.

Another sweltering day here, but I'm back again to Blighty this afternoon for another week for a cool-off and to help my mum when dad comes out of hospital. With any luck this will be last trip back for a couple of months. Mr Snoop being very nice and taking on the veg patch for me yet again.

Picked a load of veg to give to a friend that Mr Snoop is unlikely to cook. Amazing amount of French beans. Hope it won't be too late when I get back to start some more. Let's hope it's a warm autumn.
