Mornin n'all n'all!
For some reason I've woken up bright at breezy this morning!
* wonders what time the 7 am bells will ring this morning
I think I must be in need of a holiday...I went to our local town and bought a load of food, filled up the car with petrol, tried to get replacement ink for my printer ( shop closed) , collected free flower buckets from 2 places, posted some letters, and came home feeling pleased I'd managed to get so much done.....and then realised.....
One of the main reasons for going to town was to buy a replacement cafetière for tomorrow, and a new iPad charger cos this one is on it's last legs.
Both pretty urgent!
Looks like another trip in in order which is annoying cos it uses a gallon of petrol to make the return journey! ( am I starting to sound a tad like rary????)
Oh ...7.04 am...the bells have started!
Funny thing is I've been told they are not hand rung, so I can't understand why they would be different each day!...maybe there is a guy or lady whose alarm goes off at 6.30 and they get up, and walk to the church to press a button to get the bells rung. The time they ring at depends on how quickly they can get up and rush over there????
The bells in the next village vary like that too, you never know which village is going to ring first!
Well..can anyone else come up with a better idea? ...and why NEVER bang on 7 am???( Tis the same with the 12.00 midday bells...they are always about 7 minutes late!!
And after all that thinking I reckon we all need a brew!
Coffee/ tea anyone???"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Location....Normandy France

Good morning every one, I will have a coffee thank you Nicos, just milk no sugar, is it free? or are you trying to raise the price of a gallon of petrol, just think how fit you would be if you talked for you messages.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Morning all. Been up a bit now but just been checking the bank. Thought I was richer than expected then realised that it is a Bank Holiday in some parts of the UK on Monday so Tax credits have gone in early.
Well this mornings plan of action is to get the kids bathed and to clean the bathroom ready for visitors tomorrow. Sunday Han and Will are at a party and Monday my mom is taking me birthday present shopping. So the next few days are fully booked.
Aim to get to allotment on Tuesday. Kids can go to my mom and dads and I can start digging again
Kettle is on yet again so if anyone fancies a brew feel free
Have a good day everyonesigpic

Morning all ..!
Tea please Nicos .......
I understand your bells conundrum all too well ....... sometimes our church bells are an hour early ie they ring 7 when its 6am ......D'oh that not early that's late .......oh anyway, you know what I mean..? And sometimes they ring at random minutes past the hour, so if you think it's 7 o'clock - it's really 10 past six!!!!
Lordy, Lordy even I'm confused now........!!!!
Anyway, folks, on that 'note' - I'll wish you all a happy Friday!~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Morning all...It's FRIDAAAAAAY
And not just any Friday, it's a wet one;no wait that's not what I meant to say...it's a Bank Holiday weekend Friday; there that's better
Cycled home from work yesterday evening and took a detour to get some extra kilometers in and ended up doing 73km...Now, that is taking the long way home
No major plans for the weekend, but plenty to do in garden..loads of tomatoes and chillies every day at mo..
Have a good one..I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

Morning all - sun is shining in the sky - need to arrange another pallet of compost for the site plus one for the local primary school - then to the allotment to do some tidying. In the nicest possible way - stuff your crumpets. I'm about to have hash browns, eggs and beans.
Now, I usually have porridge with nuts and fresh fruit cut up and sprinkled on the top so why on earth this morning I woke up craving hash browns, who the heck knows. I'm going with it though.
Bland kinda day so far, don't think it knows yet what it wants to be, it swings between weak sun and weak cloud cover.
I'm going to clean out my greenhouse today but since it's only one of those wee space saver jobs, it wont take long.
Anyway, have a good day all.

Morning all, had a better sleep last night so feel not too bad this morning. Had a lovely lunch yesterday with my friends, it was great to catch up.
It's lovely and sunny here but boy it's breezy! A tad chilly too and it looks as though overnight temperatures on Saturday going into Sunday will be in single figures throughout Britain!!
Hope you all have a lovely day and yes please to the coffee Nicos, if it's still warm.sigpic
