Parcel mystery solved! Courier had put it in the porch of the house with same number and same street name as ours but Crescent instead of Gardens! Someone nearly got a surprise package!

It's an age thing Nicos, well so I have been told, I suppose it will happen to me someday. That's what I would call a good breakfast Jay, if I had the courage I would tell my wife that's what I want, and Shen, who really needs reminded. Have to go just been informed that I have a shirt covered in glue or something and it hasn't came out in the wash, how am I going to get out of this one. Enjoy the rest of the day

Had an email about an hour ago to say parcel had been delivered. Funny I've been in all morning and nothing. Called company who said it had been left in the porch, strange as I haven't got a porch! Checked all around the house and in the blue bin...nothing! They are off to investigate.

Jay - is there another street with the same name but followed by Crescent, Road, Place, Avenue etc. instead of whatever yours is - if so look for the number and the porch there and you will probably find your parcel :-)

I tried for the part of Sherlock Holmes but my refusal to smoke dope meant I was not suitable. That coupled with my inability to play the violin and my lack of hair, not to mention being only 5'81/2 and being unable to speak with an English accent. Apart from that I thought I was well qualified.

Evening All and Happy Friday!
I had to go out and about today so called in a few cheap stores to see if anything was being given away
A few things made me smile in a gormless fashion. One store was selling boxes of broken biscuits and the packaging read "Proud makers of broken biscuits for 25 years". 25 years, and they still haven't managed to make a whole one
Then there was the seagull sitting on the roof of a car, so calmly it could have been on a nest. Its the silly little things, you know.............
The best smiles were reserved for the reduced plants in H0mebase - a tray of pansies £1, Penstemon £1, Osteospermum £1, a purple chilli covered in flowers and fruit £1, sage and lavender plants 20p, lettuce 20p and so on. Its becoming one of my favourite stores
Then on to Morries for a bootful of yellow stickers...........
Happy days.

Some good bargains there VC. I'm off to Ikea tomorrow to pick something up for someone else and I'm hoping there are no bargains to be had, I have no space and no money.

Oi Hazel, I started the evening thinking about Welsh solo artists, I reckon probably the best track to accent ratio has gotta be ..
