Proper Fish and chips here too tonight! Electric chip fryer in the kitchen and the windows open
Did some shopping for my Mum in Asbo and picked up 3 bags of almost new bananas for 10p. Mum was happy, she loves fruit!
Not much else to report from Sunshiny South Wales!

I couldn't get on with the electric fryer Sal - it's got something to do with nostalgia. When I'm frying in the old fashioned way I can see my dear mum standing with the pan in the slop kitchen making chips for all ten of us. It was nearly as bad as Pancake Day for her and she made chips at least twice a week! None of us were fat as a result - makes you think don't it?

Rest of the onions uplifted this evening and placed in the poly along with the last lot to dry out. As a result it is hoped that all visitors are comfortable with a strong smell of onions

Also got some small ripe tomatoes and another reasonable courgette - looks like the courgettes are coming good at last

Stuffed courgette tonight, like Sheneval the courgette seem to be doing better. Just back from playing bridge, not a good night for the cards!

Hopefully I can now get into the front garden this morning and sort out one of the small flower beds.

A cool start, still dry though ....
Don't like this going back to work lark ....... It interferes with my garden/GH plans ......
Did manage to cut front 'lawn' though yesterday after work ....I can feel another tip run coming on ~ I've got withdrawal symptoms now, not been since Saturday........!

Not much going on today, might pay the GC a visit later, I have a fancy for spring bulbs in my new look garden.

Morning Ladies from a sunny but cool Nestland. Managed to run round the garden with the flymo yesterday so just the edges to strim. Have you ever tried flymowing over woodchip?...........what a racket.................have a good one.

Morning all. Dull dreich day here. Hopefully it wont be like this all day.

Sitting here tapping fingers waiting for daughter's Higher results. Feel sick for her, she's had a really tough time over the last 2 years so I'm pleased she stayed on at school regardless. I'm hoping so much she did ok for her sake.

Can't concentrate on much else right now.
