I have had a fantastic day. OH brought tea in bed with a pressie of a thermometer to go with my mini greenhouse he got me. Then son came over and gave me a new gadget 'Parrot Flower Power' ( has anyone got it or heard about it) so lots of learning and new app!! Got flowers and daughter took me out for lunch. Then Pilates and then more people came over with pressies and flowers. Just off to see Jason Bourne at the flicks. What a lovely day.

Cilla, am I missing something ......... all those lovely pressies ....??? Could it be your birthday...??!!!

The parrot flower power gizmo (don't know how it works..!!!) lets you know what your plant requires......

Evening all. Well spent most of the morning down the allotment weeding. Still got loads left to get up but its slowly getting there.
Just had Will come down stairs , yet again, to tell me his front top two teeth are wobbling. Great they will be coming out soon.

Yes SusieG it was. The film was good but the cinema was really busy tonight as it is cheap Tuesday. What a cold evening the temp shows 11.7C, cold for mid August! No sitting outside with a drink watches the stars! Night everyone.

Brrrrrr , got down to 4.9 in GH very 'fresh' this morning .
Finish coffee, work then take mum go see dad. Both our gardens are being neglected but will get onto them and catch up eventually. Taking some time off work after today.

Morning all, sunny but chilly here this morning with rain to follow later. Harry dog going to groomers this afternoon, he won't be happy with that! Other than that its supermarket and housework...a really exciting day ahead.

Morning all, had a lovely meal out with friends last night. A Prosecco catch up. Priceless
Back to today, taking it easy, until i shake off the Prosecco malaise
Had to remove one of the Cosmo plants yesterday, wasn't doing well at all. Gaps before the winter frosts are not good.

Morning happy campers. Working today but glad as it is really cool outside. They say heat wave beginning of next week. No doing plants any good with the ups and downs of weather, oh well love a challenge.

Glad going to work as the Red Bull team are practising overhead and are very,very noisy! There is a display in London this weekend but I get to see first hand with the noise!!!

Got my soon to be new next door neighbour popping in for coffee later, so better do a bit of dusting and vacuuming.

Now found someone to clear my garden so I will soon be able to grow things again.
