Oh SP I'm wiping tears from my eyes, you've done nan and grandad proud.

Heatwave? Still waiting for ours..was like November when went to bed last night , wet..windy..cold.
It's supposed to be better from today but..I see more mizzle and cloud out there
Not sure of today's plans, I'm on late shift visiting dad today as brothers are working so I could go doing some jobs at mums then go hosp. Decisions..

Morning all, sun is trying to come out but is failing. Never mind
Stayed up late limpicking and sky watching.
I'm pleased to say that I've seen enough shooting stars now. From none to dozens in an hour.
Hubby is doing boiled eggs, anyone want to put an order in?
Tomato glut is back, so tonight's tea will include them somehow.

Came home from work today & joined the children on the trampoline. They managed to bump into each other, & eldest child's v wobbly tooth came out with lots of wailing & blood pouring out. Much better now and I have been informed that as it's a front tooth the tooth fairy brings £2, not the usual £1!

Morning All and you know what, despite the rain, the sun is still shiny (just an ickle bit shiny)!

SP, a perfect farewell and resting place for your grandparents. You've done them proud. Thinking of you today.

My day, who knows? To the vets for tablets and the obligatory detour into H0meb@se in search of ailing plants! Last visit there I came away with some freebie bits of fitted kitchen which have been turned into a planter! Pictures will follow in due course.

Dinner went well last night...I'm trying to ice my Dads cake this morning. It's not going so well with the hangover...I'm sure I only had just the two.

Dull and grey here, perfect weather for indoor stuff. How the OH can already be out cycling after last night I'm really not sure

Tables collected and taken to site - 2 gazebos put up - time for a bit of lunch followed by collecting and putting up a further 3 gazebos. After that we will be selecting our veg and registering for the show.

Both gites ready...some of the ironing done , and then we got 2 messages to say they were both going to be an hour later- so, threw back on my gardening clothes and have trimmed back various plants and picked 1kg of blackberries ( domestic variety). Now in freezer awaiting a quiet moment for me to make jam!

Going to sit out in the sun for half an hour now and chill! - purely to top up my Vitamin D

Evening, apart from it being cool this morning we've had sunshine all day not needed my coat at all, I can get used to this.
