I've been thinning out the tomato leaves in the GH whilst waiting for a parcel. Does everyone like the smell of tomatoes, I wonder, or is it just me and the parcel man?
It hits me as a wave when I open the poly - love it and they are so sweet. :-)

Just getting up the courage to venture out on morning walkies ......... it's lashing down with rain and the wind is blowing destructively around my sweetcorn and sunflowers .......
On opening the curtains earlier, I could see one of my sunflowers almost bent double, and one of my flimsier plastic flower tubs had tumbled over.... hopefully I've managed to rescue them without too much trauma...!
Hope everyone else manages to dodge any weather related damage today .....
No outdoorsy plans for me today ~ were taking MIL and FIL out for lunch later. Have a sensational Saturday !

Morning all
I think I'm working today. I should probably find out if the tenants are going home today or staying another week. I'll find out later I'm going for my second glass of coke followed by my first smoke of the morning first. One has to get ones priorities in order
Morning everyone, been up a while. The Breadmaker is on, I am in charge of sandwiches for a soirée tonight. So I am treating them to my homemade wholemeal bread.
Weather is not good, but due to change tomorrow.
I actually dug out my Ugg slippers yesterday, my feet were so cold
Anyway, back to today. Work, as always. This volunteering is taking over my life lol
Tomato glut has returned, so will appear in my sandwiches tonight I'm sure
