Morning all - strange weather we are having - these pics of grandson Euan were taken 4 days ago during our 3 days heatwave - not sure what today is going to be like but Craigie Allotments prizegiving today - as one of the judges think I'll stay in the background

Morning all, had a lie in today. Well, I had been out on the vino and didn't go to bed until well after midnight. Too fatigued to stay up for Mo's race. The recycling Gods will be very happy with all the empty wine bottles.....
So here I am, lurking on the Vine and feeling a tad delicate
Absolutely nothing planned for today, full stop.
Emptied a bucket of Bonnie potatoesyesterday, not a bad amount and cooked up nicely.

AFTERNOON ALL,dry day so far,what few beans i gathered are now in the freezer,toms are just staring to ripen 1 by 2 at the plots,but no way are the home ones,i suppose we have to be grateful for what we have got,i keep finding myself thinking about seeds for next year,but i have so many already,i am going to HAVE to have a different plan,look/sort and ONLY get what i want,goes off muttering,must be strong,must be strong,must be strong.

Been to the allotment today and manage to get rid of weeds from a bed and dig it over. Only got 5 more to do and I have manage to make it look a bit more better then when I 1st got it
Just need to sort the paths out and I am there. All ready for next year. Also need to sort a plan out and give it to the council for a approval of a another GH for us. The one we have is going to end up collapsing anytime soon. The wood is so rotted. I know it prob wont survive winter. So need the council to approve and then put up another GH that another plot holder has given us because they didn't want it to have at home.

I thought there was a meeting today at the allotment, so was waiting around thinking where is everyone. Then looked at my emails and realised it's not today it's in September. Haha

Yup, a tad early isn't it?
Well the birds have started chattering, there are a couple of owls hooting ( probably on their way to bed) and either a Raven or a rook or a crow calling out( I still can't tell them apart very well!)
Hibou is hyperactive and diving in and out of the Velux

It's all go here I can tell ye!
