Evening all. Well haven't done much today except drop the kids off at my mom and dads and nipped down to the allotment to start digging.
Can someone help me find the thread about plots then and now. Have taken some new pics and want to load them up. Plot still very weedy and my slabs are very wobbly but better than what it use to look like. Can't believe I've been down at my new plot for nearly 12 months now.

Thunderstorm been sitting overhead for much of the afternoon. But no rain. Just muggy. Now 10.30 pm Spanish time and it's still too hot. Could be a night for sleeping outside again!

We did pick up greenhouse this morning ( still needs putting up ). Then we went fishing. Bit of site seeing as well. We went to the Garvellachs



Basically a big pile of rocks between mull and the mainland. But very impressive with some stunning formations.

If you slightly crop your photos before uploading (really just take a mm of the side) they will upload he correct way. I have to do that with every photo I upload via ipad/iPhone.

-------I've had a wonderful day out shopping with the girlies...!!! (Now that would normally something I'd have put on the 'Said No One. Ever' - thread..!!!!!!!!!)

Wonderful company, great giggles and I bought my 'wedding outfit' ready for the big day next January ~ they were brill, as I wouldn't have tried on the dress I eventually went on to buy if not for them!!! I also bought a fascinator and a little furry/feathery shrug thingy .....!
The afternoon tea was fun and a rare treat .... Prosseco, champers AND - a cocktail ...... great girly day out (age range from 22 ~ 88 ......!!!!)

Don't usually enjoy myself this much without some form of dirt-under-fingernails type activity....!

It's been a busy family day, with a GC thrown in, then home to divest the courtyard garden of its inter-paving weed growth - it is so smart now! Also, cooked a couple of quiches in order to use gammon offcuts I picked up at the farm shop.

There is definitely an autumnal chilli in the air this morning. But it's going to be a lovely one when it warms up. More playing in the kitchen and garden. I really should do something with the rest of the house at some point.

We actually had some rain overnight!
Boy does it smell lovely and earthy out there this morning!

Both our cherry trees have started dropping their leaves...Autumn is indeed a-commin' SP....just think of all those leaves for free composting!

Aaaah, bless ya Hazel ........ me & Mr G been married for many, many years (far too many to remember, lol ...!!!!! ) ------- it's actually the wedding of my big son and future DIL, taking place in Jan 2017, that I was shopping for an outfit for .........! But thanks for the belated wishes, anyway

It sure was a great day yesterday ~ I really cannot remember when I EVER did anything like it at all ...... Mum came with me to a small wedding dress-hire shop when I was preparing for mine (17 years ago). - it was very low key, but at the same time very special, as mum is no longer around and I'll always keep that day special in my heart ...)
