                  • Good afternoon Folks, have been busy cutting down a hedge? barrier that was round my patio, so many different climbing plants through it ivy honeysuckle clematis etc. thought I had better get it out while I am still able to do that, I now think I have aged a bit I don't seem to be 26 any more but I will get it out and cleared 6 wheels bins so far with more to come, just having a cuppa before going to collect my granddaughter who has been at a music festival over the weekend, down Liverpool way, oh and also collect grandsons from school, so see you all later, will try and catch up with previous posts hope everyone is ok

                      • Went out for a walk over the fields after lunch and ended up at our local football club. Helped my friend in the tea bar, really enjoyed the catch up, just walked back again.
Definately done enough exercise for today.
Back to work tomorrow, that went quick didn't it
Have a lovely evening peeps - I am on strike!

                        • Well, no bank holiday here. I've been working away like a mad thing. But at long last, I'm off for my afternoon nap. Yes, I know it's teatime, but better late than never.

Hope you all had a goodly day.

                            • Test carried out on getting a new water supply at top of field - proved successful - Thanks to Potty whose advice proved to be spot on - thereafter pipework completed and all tanks filled. :-) Note these two regulars in the polybar enjoying the water works.

New pipe will require to be dug in or covered so helpers required - two volunteers already although one of them is also a regular in the polybar and the other was volunteered by his wife when she heard the tank was now in place ready for use and he doesn't know about it yet.

                              • Evening all! Ive had a go slow day today. It was so hot here. Ive had 3 roller blinds to fit on my attic bedroom windows for months, eventually persuaded OH to get them fixed. He screwed the bits into the window frames and left me with cutting the blinds to size while he went off cycling I cut all of them 2cm too narrow...his measurements were 102.5.....I cut 100.2 thankfully the wooden frames were wide although now he's trying to do a bodge job up there as while he was cycling Idecided to do a blitz on the bedroom and chucked some important bits away ive been all through the bin to no avail!

To cheer myself up I booked for us all to go for dinner at the local. It's great having kids that can drive! I can have a drink and a lift home.
