If you dont put it away there's so much clutter they can't find it anyway! Can't win! Grrrr......
I'm glad I'm not the only one - now where did I put that screwdriver, mobile phone, book, computer connection, family history file, saw, nailgun, hammer etc.etc.etc. ????

Morning all, popped in earlier but forgot to say hi...beginning to worry about myself! Hope you are all well. It's a reasonable day here today, quite warm and bright. Going to sort out some strawberry and chilli plants for my daughter to take home this weekend if she wants them. OH says she will probably say no as hubby will not want the plants in his nice car.
Anyhoo, been lazing around this morning and then when I went to have a shower the window cleaner arrived so had to put that off. I had better get a shifty on or I will still be in my PJ's this afternoon! Have a great day everyone.

And it's never your fault is it Shen? Someone moved it!
Good afternoon Folks, very warm here and I have been busy clearing out the barrier around my patio feel shattered now ,and have four grandsons to watch, OH out gallavantin with old work mates, think watching the boy's is better than listening to half a dozen women talking, its usually all talking at once and all about different things, and they never stop for a breath, yes defiantly the boy's for an easy life, need to go they are fighting with one another
Just spent 2-3 hours weeding 2 of the beds at my grandson's school - 6.5 more to do - but the first one was the hardest as weeds were 3-4 inches deep whereas 2nd one was top 2 inches and the rest look similar. Will get a bed ready for bulbs and over winter onions. :-)

Evening all I wouldn't mind some of your chocolate cake, NannySally
Racing around with a lot to do now before daughter starts school again next week. Will be very strange once she goes back again.
I hope it starts to cool down a bit soon as I don't feel like I'm getting much productive work done. The sunnier it is, the lazier I seem to get.
Hope everyone has had a pleasant day.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
My boys were playing rugby today..more training on Thursday and they are off up North on Friday for a rugby festival. I'm really ready for them to go back. The kitchen is always trashed and there is a ton of washing always waiting to be washed. I want some time to myself, fed up with getting interrupted!
Rary, if I put anything away that DH has left 'placed' ~ I can guarantee 6 - 12 months later he'll say that he'd left it there purposefully, as he knew he would be using it again - TODAY - and why on earth would I do something stupid like 'putting it away' ...???!!! so my house is just a big mass of his clutter lying around until he decides he needs to use it again...........

It's been young son's last day of school summer hols today .......
Now, I have mentioned to him to 'get his bag ready' put PE kit together, put new bus pass into his wallet etc etc .......but, I know, I just know, come tomorrow morning, he'll be wandering around like a mole just emerging from beneath the ground ~ dark-eyed and a bit grumpy... and there will be something that he's forgotten to do until two minutes before due to leave for his bus .......
And of course, you won't hear me muttering "told you so" .............
It's been another wonderful day here (not that I've seen much of it, of course inside at work, supermarket shopping etc) - however, the GH inhabitants soon soothe the nerves as I'm gently watering them and admiring them. Some therapeutic runner bean cutting, playing spy-the-bean.
