Thanks gals. The police have been really good today and we've got a lady officer sitting out there in a patrol car right now which is reassuring. Might sleep better tonight Hopefully the problem will die down when school starts back ... Perhaps it is summer holiday boredom!

I think someone mentioned runner bean chutney on here so going to see if I can find a recipe. Running out of ideas for what to do with them now as huge bag in freezer already. OH pulled a face when I mentioned doing a runner bean soup I'm sure it tastes nice!

Been very busy in work lately especially this week so haven't been on here as much as usual...Busy at home too with all the kids back to school and various kids birthdays to arrange and or attend...
Picked some beetroot this evening so need to think about pickling that..
House exterior is finally painted with just some wood sections to be varnished/painted..

Looks well so we are happy with the colour choices we made...

Good evening Folks, was listening to The Beechgrove Garden where Chris Beardshaw was talking about how far snail's will travel to get back to their home garden, I hope there is a limit to how far they travel, as I put all the slugs and snail's I find into the black wheely bin which gets dumped about nine miles away. Well I wish you all a good night, just think the problem I would have if those snails come back and bring their pals with them for a sleep over, I wouldn't have enough to feed them all. Goodnight

Morning all, but chilly out there this morning, hopefully brightening up later.
Went to our Daughters yesterday and caught up with the Grandchildren.
Cooked a chicken, bought ready to cook veg, peeled potatoes and took it all over there.
Guess who ended up cooking the rest of the dinner? Yep, and I didn't volunteer either
Bi polar is never ending stress. Grrrr
Anyway, work again today. I love my Friday morning shift. It's window changing day

Bit of a late start for me today!
Best nip and water my friend's pots whilst she's away before I forget!

More crafting today...a bit of domestics and a tad of ironing....then see what I can do with a courgette or 2 or 3 or 4.....who's bright idea was it to plant 5 courgette plants!

Morning all Had a fantastic sleep, best one in weeks. Police were on patrol all evening. I heard some sirens go off late at night but that was it. No apparent trouble and woke up to a litter free street this morning. How it should be!

Going to garden center this morning. Getting used to daughter's last few days before school on Monday. I forgot to check if her trousers need taking up - if so I've got a heck of a job this weekend!

Hope everyone has a lovely day. I shall be doing chutney later SP as well - found some nice looking recipes on BBC good food.

Neighbours daughter's birthday party is today, our young daughter turns 7 tomorrow and then Sunday, they have their cousin's birthday...Party central for them

Morning all! Boys are off on rugby tour today...yep they leave in two hours and are still in bed why do. I find this so stressful?? Hmm, cos guaranteed 5 mins before they have to leave they cant find gum shield, someone has lost a stud or they can't find their under armour!! I asked them to do it. Last night!! Oh,I know you can't wish them to b@gger off!! But I can't wait for them to finish school and go to uni! I pray every night that they don't decide to get a job as I can see them staying here forever

Scarlet the birds have it right once they can fend for themselves they get pushed out the nest, Marie I have a good nights sleep every night, but than I dont lie in bed wondering what can I have Him/Her do next
OH is not feel well today so I think it will be playing doctor and nurse to day, and that is not as much fun as it used to be I will have to go and see how to work the dish washer, I think I will have to google the operating instructions, as I am sure we lost the ones that came with it 20 years ago. Bye for now
