  • Morning all. Just been to see parents & niece & nephew off. Eldest child a bit upset to see them go, but planning lots of fun to cheer up sad children. Just had breakfast as left the house 20 minutes after waking up, cup of tea, dress myself & both kids, grab their packed breakfast & left!

Rightho, laundry & dishwasher to do before fun commences, but a cup of tea first!
    Another happy Nutter...

Is that not what's mum's are for, dads have the hard work to do like taking them fishing, playing football/rugby and so on
while mums can sit about sewing and doing washing etc.
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

          • Afternoon all, I have had no time today for a catch up but just wanted to pop in and say hello! Hope you are all having a lovely day. Daughter and son in law have gone now and as predicted there was no room for chilli or strawberry plants! Just have to keep them to myself then. To be fair they are going to a wedding and my daughter had to sit in the car with their outfits on her knee to prevent them being crushed.
Wanted to also tell you I have just taken delivery of my new toy for Autumn...recommended by BM, anyone guess what it is?
Enjoy the rest of your day and will pop in later for a catch up!

How are they going to get into them if you've sown them up?

rary, rary, rary. Rarely have I felt the need to be so contradictory - and I feel this especially keenly after the smile your post gave me this morning - but the answer to that is an emphatic no, that is not what mums are for. And how do I know? Because the person who does the sewing in our household is Mr Snoop. And he is most definitely not a mum.

And before you give me all that exception proves the rule guff, it doesn't.
