After the work was finished we adjourned to the polybar where we were joined by another regular who seemed happy that the work was complete

LD I blitz the bramble jam with a hand held liquidiser thing then pass it through a fine sieve a lot easier than using a wooden spoon to force it through

Evening all, got back from my walk safely VC! Boy it was warm, trust me to pick the warmest day to walk along to the supermarket...15 minutes there and about half an hour back...heat, humidity and two shopping bags just do not work! No sympathy to be had when I told the OH either! Giving it until next week before I drive just to make sure I'm completely well.
It was dark early tonight...the nights are fair drawing in. Lights were on about 6pm!!
Well going to have a cuppa and then bed...hope your day went well NS, it's nice to meet up with friends.

You can eat jaffa cakes Rary they contain the two things I don't really like and that's jelly and chocolate, give me a plain digestive every time

They were a favourite of my lovely old Dad's ~ he used to call them 'Welsh' biscuits .... (Dai gestive...)
And he also really enjoyed ginger nuts ~ 'Scottish' biscuits .......

Our 'lawn' is so dry it's like walking across a field of cornflakes...both colour and sound!

Good evening all. I had a very productive evening. Just finished making a batch of red hot chilli relish. 5 jars now filled and packed away. Very pleased with my efforts.

Night everyone, to tired to write anything silly today! Nice day though - work in the morning, lunch & pm at home with youngest playing in the garden & gh, then collecting eldest & home for more playing & our regular sausage Wednesday. Ate to much trifle this evening, will have to burn it off tomorrow. Got pasta bake in the freezer for ready meals. Rambling now so off to sleep........

It's very mild here again. Going to do a bit more of the kitchen Spring clean. Didn't get finished yesterday because I went weeding the path in front of the house instead. So now I have to jobs half done. I hate that!

Afternoon tea went well, we did have Prosecco, knew the hostess couldn't keep it teetotal.
Currently scouring eBay for summer shorts because now the sales are over, I have suddenly remembered that I need them for the Orlando trip,
