Good evening,

Had a lovely time out. Bought some really nice fabric, so will be making a top out of it. Also went to the trafford centre for some food. I think I picked the wrong day to go to the crafts fair. Train and bus was packed with football fan there and back. So glad to be back home now.

Evening everyone. Lovely day here, 2 lots of laundry dried on the line. OH took children & dog up a mountain whole I got lots done in the garden. Neighbours gave us 15 eggs which is v kind, realised when I took them inside that I already had 13! Now trying to work put what to do with 28 eggs when I'm the only one who eats them. Plus the small mountains of cucs, courgettes, toms & beans in the fridge. .......

Good evening all. We had a lovely mild autumny day here. Had breakfast and then me and grandaughter went off out to the park for a nature ramble. Stopped into our local cafe for lunch and then on to the ice cream parlour. Went to the library and browsed for a while (we are avid readers in our family).
Came out of the library and the remote control button wouldnt open the car. After lots of trying everything I rang OH.
A lot of cussing and swearing later he arrived on his bike, took the remote control key from me and pressed the button once and " hey presto" the car door opened. Dont ask, we still dont know what happened. Anyway, we are home safely.

Mmmmm - haven't had toad-in-the-hole for ages.
Pancakes for breakfast.
Apple & rhubarb muffins to go in the freezer.
pastry for Apple & blackberry pie for freezer
pastry for chicken & veg pasties using leftovers from tomorrow's roast
omelette for lunch Monday & Wednesday.

Make a Frittatattatattata - that's a very big Frittata. I "think" Scarlet freezes eggs for cakes.
If it helps, I have 33 eggs to use up Wish I hadn't counted them!

What-o, peeps! A very quick catch up, as I'm racing tomorrow.

Mind you, 'racing' in this context is an off road 5k/10k fundraiser organised by my running club's arch-rival- it is not about the result, but the number of our runners turning out in club vests that counts! Ha! It's all very tongue in cheek, and the winners will be the local nominated charity, Breast Friends.
