RHS Tatton Park Flower Show

It is the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire this coming week.

The dates are

Wednesday 18th July until Sunday 22nd July.

The times are

Wednesday - Saturday 10.00am - 6.30pm.
Sunday - 10.00am - 5.00pm. The plant sale starts at 4.00pm.

Admission costs are

Wednesday is RHS members only - admission £23 (children £23)

Thursday until Sunday - admission £22 (children £5, under 5's free)

Give plenty of time to get there as the traffic can be quite dreadfull getting to the show.

Oooops- I seem to have put the 2005 dates on the calender!!!!
Are you able to change it for me piglet- can't seem to do it from my end!???? Wouldn't want people turning up on the wrong day!!!

We go most years as it's only down the road from here - you can avoid the traffic a bit by ignoring the signs and using the map for an alternative route. Personallly I find it a really friendly show with loads to see and plenty of ideas to pick up on even if, as they always are, it's a bit on the pricy side for the whole family. You do save a couple of quid if you buy in advance and more if you're a RHS member.

What is the parking like Alison after all of the rain, are people likely to get bogged down.

Maybe, it's field parking with some of those roll out road things to get to the car parks. Suppose it depends how much rain we get this week, haven't really got anything to compare it with as don't think it's ever been this bad in July since I've been going.

Hadn't thought about the soggy ground for parking. I seem to remember the last time we went you can get free lifts in people carriers to take you to & from the showground entrance & the car park as it can be quite a distance especially if you've bought loads of plants! We're going on Saturday, hope it doesn't rain. If you're feeling energetic you could always try parking in Knutsford & walking in to Tatton park, might be very busy though.
