I was only bringing them in because they were slow off the mark germinating and I suspected they could do with a little more heat during the night ...And it had to be the best tray out of the three where they were just getting their first true leaf, it couldn't have been the one where nothing had come up yet!

Tip for the day....ask someone else to bring them in, when they drop them you can shout!

forecast 10 here tonight, leaving my toms out but I'm undecided with my chillies

Crikey you lot are brave. Mine haven't made it past the bedroom door yet. Keep feeling like I am massively behind this year too.

Can you salvage any from the dropees?

Apparently the blue /purple colour toms take on when theyve been cold is down to one reason and one reason only ( so they say ) and that is once the roots get cold they fail to take up the phosphorous out of the compost( was it phosphorous ? ) , anyway...............
What ive been doing of late is this, any plants ive watered that day come in , the non watered stay out and i have to be honest it seems to be working, ive only one plant with a purple hint ( funnily enough dances with smurfs lol )

anyway, just my findings over the last fortnight or so.

Am also tempted Scarlet chilli wise but no, not yet

Well, mine have been out in GH for ages now! They're quite small, but there is definitely growth ....
Chillis are still on bedroom windowsill, though!

It feels like -100 here during the day never mind at night. I'm starting to think mine may be inside all summer!

Ive just got in after wrapping them all up...now I'm having second thoughts. The trays are heavy though and I need several wheelbarrow trips as the boys are out.
