Just potted up 12 courgettes and 20 BNS as the seed trays looked a bit congested
Fantastic roots on the seedlngs.
Once again, I think treating them rough may be the answer. The mollycoddled ones I've sown earlier this year haven't been a patch on these!
17 Courgettes and 42 BNS.
Got the number of BNS seeds sown wrong - it was 58. Still 42 out of 58 is still pretty good, given that they are all old seeds.
Grow them, of course
At the moment I think the garden will be full of courgettes, BNS, begonias and gladioliuses, and carrots in buckets. Good plan or totally bonkers?

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
