Than when I am seed sowing. The anticipation of something good to eat very soon. I have just sown a bean seed at the Base of each of my sweetcorn plants, some turnips, chives and pastel mixed marigolds. The veggie garden should look pretty and functional this year. Happy days

I've just been earthing up potatoes in anticipation of frost. Up till last year, I never really 'got' growing potatoes. We don't eat that many and they're not that expensive to buy. But last year I grew more and this year I've got absolutely loads. I think it's because I like seeing their first dark green leaves bursting through. It's a sight that fills me with optimism.
Happy growing everyone.

Oh yes, it sure is a fulfilling kind of feeling. That seed sowing and the excitement when they start germinating. I think it's our nurture nature being released!!!
Bussinspain, you sow a bean at each corn station. Is that like the '3 sisters' planting? Are they runner beans that share the patch with the corn?
Asking because I was planning on doing something similar, but not quite sure of the final arrangement yet ...~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need
a prescription ... And with no limit on dosage.

Nope sowing does not rock my boat but eating a radish for example that I have just pulled, wiped on my trousers and eaten now that gets my umpie umphedI have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison
