It's part of the automatic censorship in the software. We will have to put up with it until Ben is back at work on Tuesday I'm afraid.

Perhaps the powers that be think that ** stands for rival mag. 'Kitchen Garden' & therefore you're not allowed to print it!

That's really weird, I typed the letters & got ** , does that mean any word with those to letters next to each other will come out like that?

As you can see you were able to type in 'Kitchen Garden' and it didn't get censored. I believe it’s just a glitch in the system. We have asked for someone to look at it but that won't happen until Tuesday due to Bank Holidays.

              Gardening mag.

Why is everyone so against Kitchen Garden, i think theres room for both in the gardening world. Live and let live.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

I buy both and visit both forums, both are slightly different in their own ways but keep my simple mind entertained.

Is the phrase "kitchen garden" really going to be censored. If it is, I am suprised by the pettiness of it.

No, just the acronym ** by the looks of it.

Never read GYO but we used to subscribe to K G - although its been taken over, has it changed?

I get both - ** seems to have changed with the new publishers and editor. Not so ordinary man in the street style veg gardening. Not that GYO is ordinary ........ (holes and digging seem to come to mind here!) .............. but I ALWAYS enjoy GYO more.

Are you all going to ask WHY? No idea - just is.

Thought it was BAC the other way round rather than Kitchen Garden that resulted in the stars !

I buy kitchen garden every now and then, I sub to GYO and find it sufficient monthly reading.

It is just an error in the automatic censorship as you can see Smallblueplanet was able to type K G and the words Kitchen Garden. It will be put right on Tuesday as soon as Ben (our web designer) is back at work.

I buy loads of different gardening magazines and I enjoy reading them all.
