Aww, Lumpy, thank god you came along and gave wilf a decent best part of his little doggy life ....
I, too have been reduced to tears reading your post .....

My brother took on an 'unpopular black' greyhound, Lenny, who gave back as much love and more to my brother, as my brother gave him..... He sadly passed late last year, after 7 good, well-loved years ...

Although we foster Labs my favourite dogs are Greyhounds as they are, more often that not gentle as daft as a brush dogs who need very little excercise, even less food and just want a sofa to splutt on.

My lottery win dream is to be able to buy a huge ranch style place in the hills somewhere and I'd fill it full of rescue dogs. I'd be known as the old eccentric dog lady.

My daughter often looks at our lazy lab spread out on the foot of her bed and comments on what a good life he has. He is treated like the important part of our family he is, he wants for nothing, is loved to within an inch of his life and he gets a new toy each time we visit Ikea.

Fee is a lucky lad to be fostered in your home Lumpy and you clearly have a good heart, I wish there were more like you.
