I find that, though this site is better than others I have frequented in many regards, its adverts can leave a little to be desired. I find adblock plus and ublock origin amongst others plugins help immensely. I'd get a serious headache without them on this site...

You're not the only one to use an adblocker, Baldy.

Thelma, the close tab worked for me. If other people can't "close" it, please post on here and we'll raise it with Admin.

I've not got it (yet) - but I was still having problems with the last one so I only use firefox now. It seems to avoid a lot of the adverts!
