I'm so pleased for Wales - they did great So did England to be fair - it's the best play I've seen from them for many, many years. I like this new, young team! Even Rooney looked very skillful! It was very cruel that Russia scored so late in the game... England deserved the win. Onwards and upwards!

I must be the only one who thought England were quite average. Rooney was quiet, how Sterling gets in the team is beyond me......there were a few good performances but not enough.........bodes well for a good game on Thursday.

People keep saying Rooney played well, personally I thought he was invisible for much of the match but others failed to impress also. Felt they looked nervous so hopefully will be more settled on Thursday. Russia had a very defensive game plan with pretty much their whole team camped in their half for much of the match which gave them spare players to cancel us out. Worked well for them though.

Well we've seen some cracking goals so far, what a gem from Modric............shame for NI but to be fair Poland were a more technically gifted side & taking the post match stats into consideration NI did well to hold them to 1-0............Looking forward to Germany tonight.

Not much of a goal fest so far. England won really well against Australia. Let's hope they do it again next Saturday. Oh no sorry wrong sport. As you can see I am a rugby fan.
