Oh I saw that, poor seagull. So glad they managed to sort him or her out. They said he smelled nice Wonder if he has now got a taste for it!
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

A missed opportunity to trial a new potential signature Welsh dish of curried seagull.

I used to volunteer on Flat Holm, an island in the Bristol Channel with a large colony of Lesser Black Back gulls. When they had chicks to feed, the gulls would forage on the municipal tips on the mainland. They'd bring back chicken bones mixed with red paper napkins which we assumed came from curry restaurants! The island would be littered with scraps of red paper!
They also brought back some weird stuff - like doll's legs and a plastic fried egg (my favourite find!).
Gull chicks are so cute when they're running round your feet
