And yes, I was going to sell up .... had an offer on the house last year, found out the estate agent was withholding any more viewings, pushing buyers to look at other houses, pushing me to accept the offer .... so I turned it down, committed to another year or two here, improve the house, get more money ..... but work has been very difficult to get .... 16 years experience (management), degree, 2 diplomas, cycling proficiency and 25 yards swimming certificate and the best (only) job I can get is milkman .... I can pay the bills now, but can't improve the house yet ....

On the plus side, the job is only down the road, 2 minutes away, and it's not exactly difficult .... I'll have plenty of time for the veggies and to build a new business .....
