Aah, Stingray, I loved it! Who can forget the love triangle that was Troy Tempest, The beautiful Aqua Marina who couldn't speak (only with her massive eyes..!) and Tempest the Raven-haired beauty .....
It was supposed to be for kids ....!!!!!
What about Joe 90 .......?~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

Can remember my 'baby' brother when the Doctor Who theme music started to play, would go scuttling behind the sofa - and would watch the whole programme peeping over it! And loving every minute .....
(It was in the 1960's and Daleks looked like as scary as, well a 'dalek' compost bin...!!!!)Last edited by SusieG; 14-06-2016, 11:17 AM.~~~ Gardening is medicine that does not need

I was an 80s baby, so loonytoons was (and still is) my fave!
My kids are 7 and 9, cartoons these days just seem to lack 'something' that the old ones had. And some are pure creepy, dirt girl world gives me the heebeegeebees, and Mr Bloom I'm sorry to say, is just weird! I saw him in a panto at xmas, was weird there too.Last edited by TattyJJ; 14-06-2016, 11:51 PM.Shoot for the stars, reach the tree tops

Look up names of captain pugwash
or Master Mates?
or seaman Banabas?
Remember The guy who done Pugwash sued teh Guardian (and won) for printing the same thing you're suggesting. None of the characters with innuendos as names actually existed in CP - it's an urban myth.Last edited by Jay-ell; 15-06-2016, 12:31 AM.
