I have some very obscure music in my collection, I was worried that people would think that I'm making it all up!

I love the thread - find it quite a challenge waking up memories of old records! Quite a nostalgia trip, for me anyway!
I love the more obscure ones (and thinking of a link is quite a challenge!) and also love to watch the YouTube links - thanks guys - as I don't have knowledge/tech to post links here!
Also, how do I delete a post once I've posted it if someone's already posted and mine is no longer relevant.....?????!!!!! (See, don't know tech...).

Now that Record shops are in short supply, I visit charity shops and rummage and surprisingly hardly ever buy a double.
I have never downloaded records, but I have ripped some Audio from video that I have bought like David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk and then blow me down if he does not release Live at the Albert Hall as a CD so I bought that as well.
My wife asks why I don't just download, but I tell her my CD is the original and my back up, I just convert all CD's I own to mp3
I have also been know to buy a CD because I like the cover and have never heard of the band or artist. When I was a sales rep for a while and on the road a lot my CD collection was invaluable. Now days I plug a memory stick into the CD/Radio in the car.

As you did just now
Sara, how did you get on with me jumping from Fankie Laine - Rock of Gibraltar to Albert Hammond Free Electric Band ? there is a genuine link, just a bit 'oblique' ..... Albert Hammond is actually a Gibraltarian ..... in the words of Micheal Caine ...... not a lot of people know thatLast edited by bearded bloke; 23-06-2016, 10:06 AM.He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame
