Hot, sticky, wet. Going out for a walk though, gotta plan a route for my students. Should be enjoyable, despite the weather.

Odd here, not wet but there is a dampness to the atmosphere. It is cool and grey.

Off to the hospital soon for younger son to have a check-up so hoping that goes okay.

had a few warm and humid days - today it's raining - just had a bit of a thunderstorm - luckily i got the main work done outside this week - although still got to dig over 3rd plot to try and get some carrots in - hopefully will be bit dryer over the weekend - if not, i'll dig in the rain!

Tipping down here too, and black as night. Doubt the carrot and lettuce seeds I sowed in the sunshine a couple of days ago will survive the weekend -hey ho, at least the ducks are happy!

It's dark outside here - could easily be fooled into thinking it's a very early winters morning - rather than mid morning in July! Absolutely torential!!

It's like armageddon here, black as anything and chucking it down.

I woke up this morning and thought I'd woken about 3 hours early it was that dark.

Glad I got chance to mow the lawn last night.

Quite dark but only just raining a little in East Mids at the moment.

Just read the long range forecast on Met Office though and it's not good. In fact they are warning of storms with very strong winds. I'm off to stake my sprouts I think this weekend....
