I'm off to a vide grenier ( car boot) tomorrow...so I'm going to treat myself to something between £5-£10!
I'll let you know what I find!
    Thanks gg! ...much appreciated!

I'd buy a book of stamps - something I never seem to have these days - and use them for the virtual seed parcel.

Mine would definitely be garden related. May be a plant for the stumpery

I'd buy time from a cleaner. The tenner would probably only buy one hour, but that'd be a great help right now LOL

If it must be something more tangible, I'd buy more pretty things to hang in my garden, or black paint for the fence. Probably something pretty lol

Right...my ' thought for the day' yesterday was particularly time consuming!

I've come up with a bit of a bucket list....
First thoughts are similar to a lot of other Grapes'....a decoration for the garden, but something antique like an old metal watering can or old hurricane type lamp to hang from a tree...just something old with a bit of character....
The other idea took all day to come up with and was suddenly promoted by BM's apple corners/ peeler / slicer thread!
Here ya go.....I'd REALLY love one of these...

Same as in previous years, £3 for sweet pea society 'subs' & 2 packets of seeds it'win win all the way, seeds are half price to members & entry into the show is £3 which effectively is free to members

I would buy fish and chips and a can of fizzy pop. Local fish and chip shop does a mini fish and chips and drink that would add up to a fiver, yep sad me was walking past yesterday and thought I'd check
Then the rest of my money I would buy some lottery tickets. Hey if I start with a fiver and then it gets doubled to a tenner you never know. If my numbers come up well that's another thread

Just in case anyone actually decides to spend a fiver in real life and needs inspiration, I saw these on Amazon whilst I was there buying something BM made me get.

                            https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-Heav...e&tag=ho01f-21

I thought these were ok for £8.81. Bit more than a fiver but still less than a tenner.

                              Ah - mea culpa! Can I ...
                              1) Buy a bunch of flowers then decide I don't like the colours then give them to someone else?
                              2) Go to a local "house and garage" sale like I did the other week and get some bargains including a free tall fold-up sweeping brush and pan which I've been wanting for ages so I don't have to bend down to clean the kitchen floor?
                              3) Buy a £5 voucher from my local garden centre to use later on when I need it?
                              4) Have a local ice-cream cornet with raspberry juice on top?
                              5) Have another moment to think about this?
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!
