I will be the weird person in the veg section of the supermarket now....the one who takes ages selecting potatoes and apples just because I want evenly shaped ones.

The reviews I read suggest that it's not great on wonky veg. I don't care. This thing is now a family member as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just trying to think what things are possible to peel with it, so far there is............

Definites: Apples, Potatoes.

Possibles: Carrots, Cucs, Courgettes, Parsnips, ?Onions, Lemons & Limes (For Zest)

Owt else?..................

I've tried an onion. As long as you take the first outer skin off (it struggled with the tough layers) and the onion is firm, it does do a halfway decent job but not as good as it does on apples.

I've just read that if you score a potato lengthwise, the peeler will give you perfect tattie for hash browns.
